Alright fellas. Still trying to figure out if our season and wallets are about to take a huge hit.

Trying to find the leak and I have a couple more options before I call the dealer and give up.

Good news is today I ran the boat in driveway for 20 mins with temp up to 160 and reservoir dropped from max to min only, which is expected.

I did see this video my wife took of me boarding and noticed some white smoke coming out, which makes me cringe thinking I cooks have a cracked block or head gasket.

Ignore my pitiful skills but tell me what y’all think. Perhaps it’s a normal amount of exhaust in the boat since I don’t have FAE…? Or am I fkkkkkd?!

Thanks!

Looks normal to me for not having an FAE, just water vapor from the exhaust. What ballast levels, speed and line length? Wake looks solid.

If you didn’t see condensate in the exhaust or smell it in the exhaust while in the driveway, I wouldn’t expect gasket failure or cracked block especially if the oil is clean.

I say completely dry your hull and try again and see if you find any collections under the circulating circuits.

Making my new SA build come true!!!

Which boat?

iirc sa400.

I'd follow 2in's advice. dry completely and then run in driveway for 20 to 30 and see if anything shows up. helps to have the ballast bags out and engine dividers out to look around.

Video appears to be just normal water vapor to me. I wouldn't consider that your coolant leak. If that was coolant you would smell it too. Especially if it was causing that much vapor all from coolant leak.

I’ve ran it 2x on driveway up to 160deg on idle and have never seen the white smoke.

Exhaust does not smell sweet either and it idles like a champ.

This makes me feel a bit better that my engine is. It fkkkkddd.

I’ll run it again before the next lake trip as y’all mentioned and with divides out I’ll try and locate a leak with a UV flashlight.

Thanks bro. Wakeboarding is my true love although I’ve turned to surfing recently because of prior injuries.

Running @21mph
70’
Wakeplate at 25
Front 100%
Port/starboard 60% but I do have enzos so likely close to “full” with original ballast.

Do you have a heater? If so, check the hoses and the housing on the heater surflow pump located near the engine. These leak and very hard to spot.

Very nice, looks awesome!!

Running it on the hose, you are not going to see that white vapor like you do on the water, it is your exhaust heating the water more or less as it passes over. It is normal. You just haven't noticed as you've not been looking. Did you transfer the warranty? Might be time for the dealer if you can't find it on your own.

parrot seems to jog my memory that a few guys on the tige forums had issues with heater hose connections leaking at the engine/pump.
hasn't been an issue lately but was for boats running raptors in the first few years of production.
