Looked on this forum and Supra forum and didn't find anything this specific.

1st issue:
When surfing and using Autowake it works flawlessly. After surfing, I turn AW off and then try to turn the cruise off as well. Cruise will not turn off. The only way I can get cruise off is to shutdown completely. Any suggestions?

2nd issue:
After shutting down the display screen center will sometimes go blue. In this case, I have turned battery off and back on and it corrects itself.

These are minor issues, but a little annoying. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

To turn the cruise off the boat has to be in neutral I believe. This one pissed me off all last season and is still annoying but you have to drop to neutral to deactivate the cruise. You can just slam to neutral hit the button then power back up and it works fine. Just poor programming IMO

The blue screen mine started last outing as well, not sure what's up there but I think it's a bad power cable or a bad screen

Thanks! I will try neutral tomorrow.

I am calling the dealer tomorrow about the blue screen. Will see what they say. Let you all know...

So now, even with AW off the surf tabs are deploying at speed. Got the cruise off once, hit aboit 20mph and the regular side surf tab deployed. Put it in neutral made sure everything was off, AW, surf, cruise. Got under way and hit 11.2mph, last used cruise setting and surf tab deployed again. So weird! Calling dealer now.

Pure speculation, but curious if we will see more “electronic” failures due to the semiconductor shortages. Perhaps using lesser quality semi conductors?

Called the dealer. Tech's have not seen these issues before. Booked it in next week so they can run diagnostics...luckily I am not at the lake that week! Boat season is short in Canada.

Let me know what they find out, I'd rather not drag mine to the dealer if I can avoid it!

I spoke with my dealer (we usually do things remotely as I prefer to do my own work) and they spoke with skiiers who says it's likely a bad ethernet cable. They are sending me a new one.
In the meantime I got under the dash and unplugged the cable wiggled it a bit and plugged it back in and it seems to be working so far.

I hope it is that simple for mine as well. What are the chances two ethernet cables are bad on new boats? I have replaced cables at the office after years that have been pinched and twisted etc, but after a couple of months...fingers crossed it is indeed that simple though.

Appreciate the insight. Will mention it to the dealer as well.

If it is the ethernet cable it is more than likely the ends. I would hope they are using a sealed, industrial type connectors and not RJ45.

If Ethernet cables are anything like phone charging cords, there is a huge variance in cable quality and robustness on the market.

There have been quite a few issues with the cables that I have seen here and elsewhere on the interwebs.

Hopefully it's that simple of a fix I agree!

Dealer emailed back today. Ethernet cable replaced. Water testing tomorrow. Hopefully, it works as it should.

Just closing this thread off. Used the boat for a good 10 hours after replacing the ethernet cable and everything works as it should.

My dealer sent me the cable, it's not a standard Ethernet it's got different ends on it but must be some form of Ethernet.

A bit tight if you have big hands but total time to replace was under 5 minutes.
Solved the screen issues.

Looks more like a midi cable

D-coded ethernet.
4 pins = 100Mpbs

X-coded ethernet
8 pins = 1Gbps
They are using industrial grade because they are IP67 rated for water.

But that is neither.....mini sub 5 pin...looks to be something proprietary.
