About to take possession of my new '22 Mojo and need to get insurance quotes. Can anyone tell me what sort of coverage they are getting? Lots of questions I'm not sure what is best:
Liability limit?
Personal Property value?
Uninsured boaters liability?
Medical Payments?
Fuel Spill & Contamination Liability?

Thanks for your help!

Contact BIA, Ski safe or BoatUS for a quote.

It’s cheap.

6 figure boat, crazy good coverage 10% deductible appx $500 a year

How much it cheap? I have no idea what boat insurance should cost.

Thanks.

We insure with ANPAC, who also does our home, cars, RV, and life. We had a $1k deductible, GAP coverage, and $300k liability for $61/mo, which counted towards our multi-policy discount getting us 15% cash back if no claims in 5 yrs. They didn’t have a lay/up provision or boater assistance like some of the boat specific vendors, but still cheap overall.

Currently boatless

I just got insurance from boat us on a 2021 mojo and it was $1300 a year. I have a clean record and great credit. It’s insured for full purchase price.

Heads up on Chubb, current owner of My old boat had trouble with a Chubb claim.

It was a battle for a legit claim.

I’m not sure I would be comfortable with only $300k liability. Medical bills and lawsuits if the unthinkable happens will eat that up in about 5 seconds. Jordan, if you live in Canada and have a family membership to WSWC (Water Ski & Wakeboard Canada) they offer a great deal on insurance.

ski safe for us on our 2020 tige was $375/yr. that was with a 4 month layup. agreed value of 90k and some decent liability limits(iirc it was 500k). fuel spill was almost a million but doubt they ever pay out on that. roadside was pretty basic. both other tige's were in the 75k agreed value and cost ust around $325/yr. again with layups but for most of the country boats are being laid up anyway. they insure it for damage even during layup unless you put in the water. then no coverage.

ski safe is awesome but never had a claim. not sure how good they are with that.

Comprehensive car insurance (https://www.pd.com.au/comprehensive-car-insurance/) from PD Insurance will help you safeguard your car, something we know is key to work and play. That way you have more time to focus on doing what you love.

I just used Safe ski. 392 for the year, for my 2016 moomba mondo. The rate and the coverage was much better than thru boat US/ Geico who wanted over 1000. The agreed value was half with boat US versus safe ski. The liability limits were also much bigger 100k vs 25k safe ski to geico.
