2001 v drive prop shaft replacement

snapped my prop shaft right by the coupler. i believe it is 48in long and 1 1/8 inches in dia best place to order one also going to repack the drip seals as long as im in there prop strut bushing seem tight so im not touching them any other advice would be appreciated.

your best place to get a new shaft is http://elberts.com/ as they are the place where other vendors get them.

If you snapped it at the coupler, it's 95% certain that your prop shaft was out of alignment. Lots of videos on prop shaft alignment.

I replaced my strut bearings while I was doing this job. You can also consider getting a dripless shaft seal... But yeah, replacing the shaft packing at a minimum is smart.
