Although I don’t think I need a 12.5, the 13.9 does not disappoint, pulls a heavy boat, cruised at 30 around 4300 rpm. Never tried a top speed run as it’s not my thing.

Love surfing at 3250 rpm.

Get the 12.5, and then have Sonic rig you up a 2 speed gearbox that has a high/low range!! That way you could still hit 40.

Do this with no front ballast and the all tabs all the way up....the boat will almost stand up....lol
