Tick Tock.....

So as I wait like a worried parent for my dealer to tell me what happened to

6 hr old XLV....particually why I came home to smoke coming out of the

cover. I know it was prob electrical since after I disconnected the battery

the smoke stopped.

My question is....has this ever happend to anyone?? Or am I the first lucky

one? I am very confident that my boat will be fixed completely and I will

be happy, I just am alittle.....as they say, "put off" by the whole experiance.

All new boats usually have a few kinks to get worked out. Hopefully it won't be anything major for you and your dealer will get you back on the water soon.

I noticed in another thread you referenced the wake plate as the problem Could you post the dealers findings here for the rest of us please, it could help out others in the future. Thanks.

Definitely will post what happened with the wake plate just as soon as I pick it up. All I heard so far is they had to replace the wakeplate and all the wiring.
