Has anyone had experience with re & re'ing their steering wheel? My has not been straight right from the factory.

When I removed the cover plate I noticed what I thought was additional screw locations for adjustment, but they were solid, not treaded once I had the steering wheel off via the 6 allen screws.

Once I take the center nyloc nut off, will I need a steering wheel puller or should the collar simply slide off?

Mine was just a splined shaft and I was able to move it to the correct position.
I image the kaiyen is also a splined shaft with an adapter.

Remove nyloc... pull wheel... center wheel... and tighten nyloc? No extra effort required?

Yep that's basically it.
i did it on the water so you can get it dialed in, it's hard to do it in the driveway by just looking at the rudder position.

Greatly appreciated!

It's been driving me nuts since last year.

You'd think they would just make a jig for installing them.
I see/hear about a lot of them off center, even completely upside down haha

That's even one of the questions within the customer satisfaction survey... "Was the steering wheel straight?"

I would assume this was one of the more prevalent issues... still not resolved by the sounds of it...
