Replacing USB/Aux port - hole is now too big

OEM port used a 1.25” hole, but the new one fits a 7/8” hole. Any ideas on how to make it work, or do I just need to send the replacement back?

Easy way would be to swap it, but if you're feeling crafty, you could check Home Depot or Lowes for some desktop cable grommet plugs. Get a blank one that is 1.25" and drill a 7/8" hole in it. Something similar to this:
