Can anyone with a 2021 Mojo with the A3 tower get me the exact size of the bimini? Debating whether to ditch the stock bimini and order something custom instead. Having enough shade is very important to me and I'm worried that the stock bimini looks too small in photos. Thanks!

It reaches from the rear of the tower to the front windshield... Only complaint is I wish it went towards the back as well

I can try to get you some numbers on it tonight though!

Thanks! I would love the actual size to compare with an after market Sewlong Canopy. So many photos make it look like the bimini doesnt go all the way to the windshield so its hard to tell from photos.

Im happy with the amount it covers forward its behind the tower I wish it had some extra coverage..

Does Sewlong have one already for the 21 mojo or is this something you would try to custom order with them?

They have one already and can send pics. It looks like it extends behind the tower about a foot if I had to guess.

Anyone with a boat sitting in their driveway that could get measurements?

Let's see those pics of the Sewlong bimini.

If you can wait until the weekend, I can get you measurements from a 2015 Mojo with S-bend.

But Josh is right, back of the tower until windshield. What tower is on your 2021 regular or Pro? And what measurements do you need?

I don't think the bimini size is the same between the Sbend tower and the A3 tower but that's a guess.

The A3 is the tower in question since the Pro tower comes with a larger bimini.

If the SewLong bimini is larger with similar functions (board storage), I could see just specc'ing boat with an A3 tower and no bimini.

If they are the same size, I would be interested in adding more shade to the back also.

Where are those pics....lol

I'm looking for the front(over the windshield) to back(at the tower) dimension for the standard bimini on the A3 tower.

The Sewlong bimini I'm told is 78" long, but its pretty flat and doesnt wrap down the side much like the stock bimini does. Not sure how much difference that makes with sun coming from the side.29671

By the look of your picture, you would be only gaining the extra shade from the ~12" part behind the tower. The factory bimini stops at the rear cross member. I like the way it looks and it appears to have board storage.

What is the price difference vs SC price when ordering the boat?

I like it! I hate the Velcro to the tower feels cheap and takes forever.. However the height of the standard A3 Bimini makes the sun already come in the sides so I could see the fact the SewLong is flat would have some effects.. But that extra rear foot haha

Again, not sure how similar but the S-Bend tower bimini is 77.5" long (windshield to rear tower) and 77" wide arm to arm.

It is dome shaped port to starboard but not sure how much more or less shade that would give you.

An extra foot or 18" toward to back would help keep the sun off the driver better but still isn't enough for the whole cabin.

I like the mounts on the SewLong better. The plastic hooks feel cheap.

I dont know if the bimini on the mojo is the same for other Moomba models(i think it is), but I look at some of the photos online and think there is no way the bimini reaches the windshield like folks are saying? 29672

It does on my MAX, the tower must be further forward on the MAX and further back on the Mojo. I think the windshield wings on the Mojo are longer leading to further back tower placement.

I know right?! Why do companies feel the need to use carbon fiber to drive up the cost when there’s really no need to use such an exotic and expensive material for such a simple function. It’s not an Indy race car. It doesn’t need CF and unobtanium materials ffs. Just give me some simple lightweight aluminum poles and be done with it for about 1/3 the cost.

Love it, but $1,800 is ouch! That's just an extension, not a larger Bimini....for some sunbrella and poles.

That price is whack, CF poles or not.

Sorry, that bimini extension looks like arse!! No chance I would pay $400 for it let alone $1800.

I'd have to see it in person to comment... that said I have seen sewlong full biminis on a couple of supreme zs boats and their bimini is on par or better than most oems. it was $3800 for their oversize model on a zs212 we looked at and it was well worth the $1500 over oem.

I say that here in the southwest tho. we used our bimini once in 4 years in green bay. the sun is WAY different in the midwest vs the southwest.

Reminder for anyone out in their boat this weekend. If you have an A3 tower, I'm looking for a front to back measurement of the bimini. Appreciate the help!

So I again forgot to bring a tape to actually get any numbers however you are right. Bimini only actually comes to about the front of the seat. So probably almost a full foot from the windshield.

When you are sitting down it covers well.
However when standing you actually are in front of it.
Which it would hit my head I think if it came any further forward when driving..
