The screws that hold our amp under the dash in the battery compartment broke off and we tried for 3 hours yesterday to reach them to replace. Any suggestions? How do you reach the back wall to put new screws in?

Sounds the installer mounted the amp on the STBD side under the helm, and there is a false wall at your feet? if so, you will likely need to find the hidden screws and remove the false wall.
