'21 MAX - No Speed (MPH) on Display - What to Check?

New Max, no speed is displayed. I don't have the GPS so my 1st thought is the paddle wheel is disconnected? Just checking if anyone else has experienced this and if there is something simple to check.

Don’t spin it fast. It will damage it. Been there done that. Had my daughter under the Mastercraft helping me take the wax off and she discovered it and started spinning it quickly. Hasn’t worked since but I ski using RPM so it remains broken.

I noticed an excessive amount of white silicone on all the through hull fittings on my 21, perhaps the paddle wheel has some white silicone obstructing it.

This silicone was blocking one of my ballast intake fittings.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210430/8d8fafe362a7b8d68e13a286f0084bf8.jpg
Fortunately I found it and was able to break it up and pull it through the grate. The ballast pump would not have liked this.

I was under mine over the weekend and spun the paddle wheel. 2 stink bugs and spider sack came out. Could just be a critter.

Otherwise, it is brand new and your dealer's problem.

Hmmm, no issues with my paddle wheel, still does not work. I'll just add GPS and move on. Yay!
