View Full Version : 2019 Indmar Raptor 450 Drain plugs

I'm trying to de-winterize my 2019 SL 450 and having a hard time finding the hose from the transmission cooler (#3 below). I have replaced the plug in transmission drain (#2) and the Heat exchanger (#4). Any tips as to where to look or best way to access. I've tried standing on my head and that didn't work :) .

Through the trans hatch starboard side, it’s a black hose with brass fittings, you really need a good light and yes, stand on your head until you find it.

No easy way.

Thanks Larry! I'll try again tonight. I'm not going to let it win! I'm no mechanic but I like being able to do these things myself. Sunny and 60 tomorrow so we may try and give it a go!

I always do that one from the v drive access. Flashlight and look down and left. It’s a hose just hanging out with a hole.

How about making the v-drive hatch a little bigger? Putting in the V-drive drain plug is sort of a pain

Amen to another foot on that hose! I had to remove the v-drive hatch, lay down completely and just got lucky that my light shined on the brass fitting. I took pics and video I will post that shows all three. That transom cover is a pain the ass to get back on also. The push button connectors on the bottom suck. I'll be finding something better for that also.

The v drive hatch makes a big difference, I noticed the 20+SA hatch is significantly bigger than 16-19SA hatch. Much improved access for that hose and V drive plug.

Agree. Not sure why they do not make all the hoses like the oil drain.

Could always go fire it up in the water. Would make finding hose pretty easy. [emoji1787]
