If I had to guess, the driver prolly forgot to put in the plug, realized the boat was taking in water and panicked, ran it up to shore and boat kept taking in water and rear sank as we see. The other possibility was one of the bag connectors came loose as it happened to me one spring. I started throwing seat cushions up until I found the front port side IBS connector came off and water pouring in.

why now tower that you can see? that's curious or am I missing something.

I'm going with insurance payout to get out of upside down boat.

With the tower missing- I’d be more inclined to think the boat was stolen, stripped of some valuables and driven into the shore bank..

OK, stolen is possible, but why would they sink it then. Why not just ram in up the shore and take off with any valuables they could remove. There was a deliberate act of pulling the plug and sinking it. But, if you wanted to cover evidence you would have done that in middle of lake. SO that does not make sense entirely either.
That makes me think that the sinking was an accident rather than intended. That's why I stick with my theory above.

Yeah, the scale of the leaves in the foreground are out of scale also. The reflections in the water are out of scale as well. I’m thinking bad photoshop, but could be a hobby boat.

I read somewhere that the boat was stolen and stripped. I think something about the owner had passed away as well

Norris Lake. I noticed it on social media on Saturday. Pics of the boat and owner from last year and/or the year before.

Someone posted the owner passed away b/c they knew the owner. Nobody has seen the boat until these pics surfaced last weekend.

Probably more to the story. I think the tower and electronics were stripped.

Sad to see any boat like this.
