Is there anybody that can help me with information about the Saint Louis area. I'm moving in June and can't seem to find anything on wakeboarding in this area.

Er, you dint move fur nuff south?
.
jk
.
Lots of flat land around St. L. We just bought a milling center from a fellow @ Largo Machine Shop just south of there. Don't know bout the lakes, but I'd say you were pretty close to the Mississippi River.

You should see the video "Midwest Militia". There's this one stint where a guy on a board is being pulled by a pickup truck down a drainage ditch.
.
I would say I'd prefer the Mighty Miss to the ditch, but that's just me.

Thanks for the reply B, but now I'm really starting to freak out. A ditch with a pick up truck and a muddy cold river wasn't what I was hoping to hear. Maybe I should post my 06 LSV rather than tow it all the way to St.Louis.

Aw, heck, I'm sure you'll get by. Do a search for 'lakes close to St. Louis' or something similar. I did, and it seems you have several options
.
Hope this helps

The only thing I've heard on the Ozarks is that it is very busy with not much flat water. If you get out early can you find good water?

I just stumbled across this website, so you are in luck! Wakeboarding is just starting to get big here, a friend of mine and I started up www.stlouiswakeboarding.com. it is still pretty small, but growing. Come out and ride with us!

Dude, the Ozarks are HUGE...you stake out a cove and hang out all day. Plenty of room and flat water for everyone. The Wife and i have been talking about moving from CO to MO for that very reason. Trust me, there's no place on earth like the Ozarks. You are extremely lucky to live that close.
