Anyone in the Austin,TX area have leads on indoor boat storage?

Our housing search keeps putting us in areas that there isn’t room for on property boat storage. My wife has a job line up in Cedar Park, but our style of house keeps pulling us towards the Mueler area.

Anyone have any leads on convenient indoor storage that isn’t super spendy and is convenient to Lake Travis. We can launch from Lago Vista with our family’s passes. Cedar Park and Leander, or anywhere on 1431 would be best for us.

Covered - Sam Bass storage is right off 1431. If your going I35 to 1431 this is right on your route, virtually no detour. If your coming up 183, it’s a little out of the way.

I know there are a few spots in Jonestown, but I don’t know the names off hand. They are also right off 1431.

On a side note..... don’t know your story or details. Cedar Park/Leander is amazing... rapid growth and great investments in LISD schools.

We are in Round Rock... but if I was looking to move there are a few areas in that area we’d be checking out for sure!

My mom lives in Leandor and works at a hospital in Cedar Park. Nice area for sure but I don't know anything about boat storage up that way.

We are in Round Rock... but if I was looking to move there are a few areas in that area we’d be checking out for sure!

7 yrs ago, we lived in Leander, then moved to Jonestown, but left after 2yrs. We’ve been looking all over in Lago Vista, Leander, Cedar Park, Georgetown, and Round Rock. We’d been looking for houses with land or a space to build a shop to store the boat, but my wife likes being closer to downtown and Ladybird Lake, but land and boat storage aren’t feasible.

We are fairly picky about our houses. We aren’t for PUD’s and HOA’s. Our current neighborhood has high neighbor pedestrian and bike traffic, and we have quite a front yard social scene that we enjoy. We also enjoy having space, so balancing that dichotomy is difficult.

My wife has a job lined up in Cedar Park, so that is what is pushing us that direction. We are used to a 15 min commute time, so commuting any further than that is an adjustment.

My mom lives in Leandor and works at a hospital in Cedar Park. Nice area for sure but I don't know anything about boat storage up that way.

My wife is working at Cedar Park Medical Center as a travel RN as night charge in the ER, but they’ve offered her a permanent position once her contract is up. What department does your mom work in?
