A few other forums I am on have a running chat thread, nothing in particular but a place to hop in and an ask some questions, or a general place to bs.
I figured I’d start this to keep rolling for the regulars, or guys who just need to ask some questions without starting a thread each time.

Daily life, general questions, off topic, whatever it may be.

But I’ll start with my random question, it seems no matter the device or network I use, I can’t seem to get the walemakers site to function. This has been ongoing since around Black Friday time. Anyone else have this conflict?

I ordered some items around the Black Friday timeframe. Used my work PC and did not hit any issues. The items purchased were sale items.

I was on my tablet the other night while watching TV. I put some items in my shopping cart. I did not order b/c the Moomba Forum discount was not working. I figured that might be b/c of the holiday sales. I was going to follow up with them, but did not get a chance to email or call them.

Lucky you’re able to make it that far lol.
The home page will load, but anywhere you navigate from there will not. Whether it be from my Samsung note, or iPhone. Home wifi, work wifi, cellular network, laptop. You name it.
At least the home page loads now, because up until a few days ago I couldn’t even get that. Not sure what gives. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210107/1fdc9eb492485de9bf5dfbdf3cd83d18.jpg
It will sit with that loading bar just like the photo until it times out. Rest of the internet and our smart devices/network are fine. But I’ve been trying for months lol

What browser are you using? You may need to clear your cache, delete cookies, device history, and update the http address. I’ve been having troubles with chrome lately, but safari works ok. I would only allow pop-ups as the final thing to check.

If your web browser is part of a work administered access portal, your organization may have blocked them do to potential security risks.

Home network functions fine, cellular network as well as work network.
I am using safari from my iPhone and chrome from computer, as well as chrome on my Samsung note before switching to this devil device.

Edit:
I just cleared website data on my phone, and it appears to be working. What would cause something like that?

Sometimes there are memory issues that will cause the phone/PC and get confused.

Or there could be items changed on the website like updating a pic, logo, link, type of flash software to display items that conflict with those saved settings on your phone.

Deleting the temp data just resets what the APP/Browser.

The amount of information browsers store and reference is immense. When websites update content, the redirect may be overridden by previously stored data (cookies, etc. ) and send you to a cached version of the page. Problem is, the individual redirects in the cached page have no where to go, creating the wheel of death. Cleaning out the old info, helps establish the new redirects.

Clear your cookies, history, and refresh bookmarks every 30 days to 3 months.

Works for me also. But there are things that specifically say codes don’t work for.
Like my ballast impellers.

Yea, if the ballast impellers are marked down (all of them are marked down right now - green ones from $34.99 to $27.99), even if you spend over $100, they do not apply more discounts.

Full price impellers will apply the discounts over $100 spent. For example, if you buy the service kit green ones, those are full price at $39.99 and will apply the discount, but not everyone wants those add'l items in the kit for the extra money spent.

It’s been a while since I’ve put wetsounds in my old boat.
I last had 4 rev 10s ran on an sd2 for the tower.
This time I’d like to run the “3 some” 1 pair rev10 and a 410. Which amp would you guys run? Syn dx2.3?
As well as 3 pair of revo6 with possibly a syn dx4.
Subs will be DC audio 12s with appropriate dc amp.

My old boat had a 420bt. Probably go that route again. Would you guys do an mc1?

Sorry for multiple posts. By the time I try and edit, too late.
My s bend tower doesn’t seem like it will allow the layout properly of the “rev 3 some”
2 410 with a ks600.2 bridged at 2ohm would provide 600w to each 410. Providing just about perfect wattage at anchor with boat off which we do a lot.

my 22ve had 3 arc ks series and had great luck with them. current boat came with ws htx6 and I added 2 more arc amps. truck has arc amp pushing 2 sundown subs.
iirc arc and ws are same topography just not conformal coated which for me doesn't matter. others will say it does.
ws stuff is overrated and spensive imo but in the tower speaker arena they are one of only a few players and have done a better job at selling/advertising than others.

Ya, I hear ya. I had an sd4 running 4 pair of WS 808 interior speakers, an sd2 running 4 rev10 and a SQ4500 running a pair of sundown zv4 12s in my v215.
I used to get great deals on WS. I still get good deals but the discount has shrunk as the price has risen. I get the same deal on arc and JL as well.
I’m thinking maybe 2 410s on a ks600.2
At 31 I’m not so concerned with the cool factor as I was at 25 of having ws Amps lol.
Maybe 2 W6 12s or 2 W6 13 for subs.
I get good deals on DC audio, with sundown, DD, DC, etc those are SPL woofers and we listen to all kinds of music. So I might go with JL for the acoustic factor

The boat also came with Polk MM 6.5’s. I’m wondering if it’s worth the trouble and the money to swap out all the interior for some Revo6.

I had the revo6 in my rzr with a pair of rev10 also. They sound good but idk how much better for the effort and money.

Anyone seen these? Pretty darn close to wetsounds In many aspects lol.
Came across a lawsuit filed against them from WS in 2017

hate to say it but for the price i'd stick with ws in the non-hlcd category.
I just installed 4 icon8's on my tower. paid $1449.98 for all 4 brand new. granted no led's but we're not into that. speakers above look to be $1600ish for 4 of the 8" in pods. granted they come with led's.
ws rev10's look to only be $200 more. if that was my thing I'd pay that. frankly if I was into hlcd's we would have ordered kicker. similar pricepoint to audioformz and a better known brand.

Probably going to pick up my WS equipment tomorrow.
Which has an easier and more user friendly zone control. The 420 or the mc1?
I’ve had a 420 previously and really like the zone functionality. Very easy. However, I feel like it’s a never ending story of fiddling with those 4 knobs. Main, tower, boat, sub.
Does the mc1 have a better zone control?

So my WS dealer told me rev12’s were supposed to land Q1 this year.
I said ok, how about a rev412. He said no plans yet.
I said ok I’ll wait and see about the rev12s. He said they are going to be priced somewhere at $1850-1950.
This is getting out of hand lol

I have 18s now. I just like the gear 726/moto 962 better.
I have a new iPhone, pictures of everything are on my Samsung but let me see if I can find a photo. I’m not by the boat right now.

I’m in Reno all the time. Gf and I are from there. Her family lives there still. She or we will be headed up next weekend probably, she duck hunts at canvasback.

My boat interior is nearly all white, I have to constantly keep up on it.

iirc you have the 242. we use either babes or 303 and a microfiber. if we get a nasty stain or something that doesn't seem to clean up easily, malco and a microfiber followed up with 303 or babes to uv protect again. and should note babes smells amazing.
we keep gallons at home and a spray bottle on the boat for use out on the lake.

if you have the chill stuff on the new boats, then dawn/water is all you can use.

Ya 242.
Currently I use either babes seat saver, boat bling condition sauce, or Collinite leather and vinyl cleaner and wax. The collinite is amazing, water beads right off of it and it cleans and conditions.
It is difficult to keep this textured white looking new. I clean and condition on every use, and spray the exterior down including tower, glass and trailer with babes each use.
