Got my new LED headlights and fog lights in today for my F150 and it really updated the look for a more modern appearance. These are much brighter than my oem HID’s were and have a nice cutoff. I need to adjust them up and then I’ll post a nice driving video. The LED DRL’s are super bright when the lights are off and then dim. I rly when the Peking lights are on. You’ll see :D

I do have an issue with the driver side headlight that will likely need to replace the headlight since it’s all controlled by a board. Overall pretty impressed with the headlights

looks good hack. I need to do this to our '99 f250 sd. going home at night from work they are super dim and since we live out on the outskirts of town, not a lot of streetlights.

thx for the vid....

I'm not sure if that is autocorrect or PWI, but nice lights either way. May have to check some out for my RAM. Our 2020 Nissan Armada has a similar look that is super bright and has that very obvious cutoff edge on the top so you don't blind oncoming.

Haha yea my autocorrect goes friggin nuts on my phone and it pisses me off lol. I mean, wth is a Peking anyways? :D

If it weren’t for a free work phone I would chunk this damn thing as far as I could.

Lol should have known it was a duck :D

The headlights and fog lights were $1,175 with the Black Friday deal (20% off I believe). I got them from theretrofitsource.com.

I got my driver side headlight high beam working. The issue was a bent pin in the connector.

Here are some pictures of the lights on. I’ll post a video soon driving with them to give you an idea of how they look while going down the road.

Here is a video driving down the road at night. Really nice output and light distribution.

Look great! I actually ordered the same headlights for my F150 but haven't gotten them yet, tracking number says Saturday though so hopefully I can install them this weekend.

How was the install? Pretty straightforward?

Yup real easy install. No need to remove bumper, grill or any of that.

I hated LED in the rain. Way too much glare back off the road. Sweet for normal conditions though.

But they look so sweeeeet. My F150 has the LEDS from the factory and every thing about them looks cool. And I have noticed no glare issues. I imagine in the next 5 years or so the will start to become standard OEM equipment on a lot of models. I dont think it will make sense to keep manufacturing two different housings

All LED’s are not created equal.

Some are for looks
Some are for both looks and lighting performance.

Trs/morimoto is top notch stuff.
That’s all I’ve been using the last 10 years or so.
I also have the morimoto LED headlights and fog lights in my ram. OEM+ look.
Not quite oem output though, but close. We have factory LED Headlights/fog lights in our JL. Those things are unmatched.
