Hi,
New to the forum and considering buying a Mondo. Can someone confirm if Zero Off is required for Autowave. It doesn't declare that when building a boat.
Thanks,
Zeev

No...

Zero off will be accurate within .1 mph. The standard cruise will be accurate within .3 mph..

We opted not to spend the money for zero off as we are not pro wakesurfers that need that much accuracy..

If it were me, and yes we did this year on our build, get zero off, just skip the maps to save some $. So much easier to dial in the wave and it doesn't matter if you are regular or goofy it will read correctly. Now if I was planning on a river boat or something that had a lot of current then paddle wheel is easier.

Becoming a wave snob is a tough rabbit hole... We have GPS and now my wife and I agrue between 10.8 and 11.0 being the best speed

Agree, get zero off. My wife and I also notice .2 mph makes a HUGE difference in the wake and we are not pro surfers. The shape and firmness changes a lot within .2 so I would highly recommend going with Zero off to keep an accurate speed.
