Was going to go with the Kaiyen and Flow 2.0, now going with the new Mojo. Do we need the 3.0?

Personally, if it provides a cleaner surf wave, I would not hesitate upgrading to flow 3.

It's easy for me to spend your money, but at $1300 retail for the Flow 3 on a 100K ship, I wouldn't hesitate. Especially being something you can't add easily later on. It could make the boat more attractive in a resale environment. I bet the "take rate" on flow 3 will be about 90% nationwide, just a guess though.

Go for it. It'll help resale. Congrats. Such an awesome boat.

The waves that you see the Raspberry Mojo throwing in the videos, are with 2.0 just FYI. 3.0 is awesome though, you can't go wrong.

The thing is, with 2.0 you can get just as good of a wave as 3.0, you just have to list the weight more. This makes transfers annoying, especially for someone like me with just G3 pumps. My understanding is people still slightly list with 3.0 to get the perfect wave, but you get better waves on both sides evenly weighed down with 3.0 compared to 2.0.

Just some thoughts, if you don't need to list as much means you can use all the ballast available and gets you a bigger wave. :)

We have 2018 Mojo.

We fill all ballast full and just list with lead and body weight. Easy transfers without any hassle with the 2.0.

We surf port side and the starboard wave is actually better, when other want to transfer of surf it.
