What's next?

If it sells soon and I can snag a spring build slot then the plan would be for a 2021 Mojo.

I've been on the fence for a few months too late but I was at my dealer last weekend for warranty service, they have no inventory and they had just sold a '17 Craz with WAY less options and 350 hrs for $75K.

I spoke with my CFO last night and she was like, go for it, if it sells cool...if not, that's cool too.

The gel coat pattern on the new Mondo & Mojo is pretty different than the Makai & Kaiyen so I won't have a clue until Will shares some pics (I'm the leak, not likely :o) or the builder finally gets updated.

In speaking with the Mrs last night, the consensus is something mostly black with a bright flake accent. I'll share a rendering as soon as I have one ;)

Can't wait to see the new Mojo. Wonder how the updates will affect the price. My brother in law priced a Max for 90k moderately optioned, nothing crazy, with 400 motor. I'm guessing the redesigned Mojo might cross over that psychologically important 100k threshold.
Hmmm.

Hmmm.

I would expect that it will. kaiyen we built was 95kmsrp and otd was high80's. would expect a mojo if it's just a larger kaiyen to be north of 100k with the popular options and otd in mid-high 90's. states with tax will be 100.
seems that the makai's I have seen are right at or just over 100k otd.

compared to what we saw when shopping moomba is where it's at in value......

Man, that's pretty crazy. In '15 I bought my Mojo new from dealer, dual battery, heater, transom step pad, two tone trailer, bimini. It was nicely appointed for 69k. Now, a mere 5 yrs later, we are getting into the 90"s. Crazy. Helps maintain used boat prices though!

RC, I did the same thing at the beginning of July with my 16, and also going for the 21 Mojo. Just waiting for a few more details, but believe I’m in either the October or November build slot. The longer it takes, the more money I save.

isaguel,
I hear ya. our last new boat in '12 was $62k for a tige 22ve. that was otd and fairly well equipped. now their "value" atx line is mid90's for same 22ft.

it's insane and not sure it'll stop anytime soon even post 'rona.

My dealer told me there's a 1-2% price increase from 2020 to 2021 on the new Mojo and many previous options like G6 & Flow 3.0 are now standard.

Rinker's down in Houston has no build slots left for 2020. I'm thinking a mid April build with late April/early May delivery would be perfect with water temps...and like you said, I'd be stacking paper during that offseason time.

How can you get a "mid-April" build slot and have a late April early May delivery? That is not enough time to build and truck to Houston.

Last time for me it was 7-10 days for build, a week for delivery and a few days dealer prep [emoji2375]

I guess I'm hoping supply chain constraints aren't a factor in the spring but I may be overly optimistic.

I'm guessing during the JAN 2021 boat show season they will taking deposits on 2022 slots . . . . good problem to have.

I recall my 2018 build from start to delivery was 21 days and Supras take 3-4 extra days to build versus the Moombas.

The dealer I'm talking to has alluded to this.. Apparently half of his 2021 model build slots are already taken.

Ya I really like the spray patter on the Makai i just wished they would have allowed for an additional area of Metal Flake. I would love to have had it wrap around the back of the boat as well. It will definitely be interesting to see what the spray patter for the the Mojo will look like!

RC_Hinojosa - just being nosy, but did you sell your Craz? I saw it on onlyinboards before when I was perusing, but dont see it there anymore.

Got some offers last fall and winter.... some serious, others were FICO nightmares. None were serious by the time my dealer was to get involved with transfers.

At the end of the day, I still have a ride this season and a lot of folks have pieces of paper to ride new builds next season. [emoji2375]

Why not just trade in? Much easier than selling private and only pay taxes on the difference. That's what I did form our Mojo to the SA.

Makes sense, might have to eventually remove a bunch of it and go back to stock if people aren't finding the value in a very nice upgraded boat. Hopefully it will sell for you soon boss. either way, you have a nice ride for the season.

It's funny how the market works....

There wasn't any love for yellow till there weren't any boats left. [emoji57]

Now I can't beat buyers away with a stick.

Listing has been expired since last fall and folks are still trying to reach me on the daily over the past few weeks.

I should let OI know it's been sold but the info requests are sometimes humorous to read.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210505/bb49f0b475492ba9e8925bac1537f1ce.jpg
