Flow 3.0 operation [Archive]

Does anyone know the operation of the flow 3.0 system, more particularly the operation of the secondary tab? I’m curious if it’s an automatic function based on weight/draft/displacement or if the tab should deploy anytime the surf tab is deployed? I put the tabs down while the boat was on the trailer so I could see them in action and noticed that neither secondary tab deploys....

It deploys proportionally according to the measured amplitude. More amplitude more secondary plate. New for this year. Used to deploy 100% every time tab was active.

Can the software in a 2020 be updated to make the plate deploy like in the 2021?

From my understanding no. It’s a new PDM.

But I would not think about it too much. It’s a subtlety.
