All,

Here are a few pics of a simple tower stand that I built out of scrap wood over the weekend. I can't believe that Moomba does not give us a way to lay the tower down without tearing up the upholstery, or at least provide us with a stand. I set the tower down on this stand when I pull the boat in and out of the garage. Once I have it in the garage, I usually suspend it from the ceiling using bicycle hooks and some tie downs so that I can get in and out of the boat without having to duck under the tower.

I'd be interested to see what others are using for a stand.

Thanks,

Al

question for you-how high is the lowest point on the garage door and can you back it in all the way or have to push it in with it on the wheel jack up front?

thanks

My garage door is 9'-0" high and I can back it in all the way with the boat hooked up to the tow vehicle (a Dodge Durango). The height of the opening itself might be an inch or two less than 9'.

Looks good. I too wondered what I could do when backing my boat in. Right now, it is sitting in the garage with the tower up. But to back it in, I have to set it down. I used towels to keep anything from scratching but I did not think this would be SOP. I like the stand!
