The family is contemplating a summer vacation to visit friends on Pickwick Lake. They are in the northern section in TN. I'm wondering what the wakeboard/skiing scene is like? I've read alot about the fishing, curious on the watersports. We may hook up the boat and make it a fun filled week on the water. Thanks!

Pickwick is a beautiful place. I sure you will have no problems finding places to wakeboard. I've been there once and fished, but If I was to go the one of the parks for vacation, I would definately take my boat.

Hey,We live on Pickwick and it is one nice place to hang out and
get in some nice watersports.

If you are into boarding you need to get to the Scruggs bridge boat ramp on the TOM BIGBEE. That is where the boardaholics do their thing.Your people will know where I am talking about. 10 min by trailer or 1/2 tank by water.

If you are into slalom you need to get behind the state line islands as early in the A.M. as possible.

All this is for weekends, if you stay during the week you can run the lake and have no problems anywhere....

We will be out in our Supra Launch 20. Hope to see you there...
Also Head to the Pickwick Deli for lunch. The food is awsome..
