Do you guys use a spool or an anchor bag to manage your anchor rope?

I keep mine rolled up on the spool. It dosent roll up super clean bc it gets twisted but it's quick. Those who use the bag do you let it dry out?

Yes I always pull the anchor bag out rinse the anchor, the bag and rope and let them dry out before repacking it all (that is if it does get used).

I spool, but got a new rope that although better, didn’t come on a spool.

The rope bag looks good as I can probably fit the rope and the box anchor inside it.

Thanks guys.

I do the loop pull through loop method. Helps keep the ropes from being tangled, once I have the whole rope looped I then roll it up and I have a clip that insecure it with

I didnt have to worry about rope management over the holiday, since I threw my new box anchor out without it :( :( :(

So your not the first. I watched my brother chuck my dads anchor overboard without a rope too. It as hilarious when it’s not your anchor. He returned weeks later with one of those huge magnets and was actually able to fish it out. Never doubt old age, determination, being cheap and a lot of beer....

I lost my danforth when the d ring came apart. I had a buddy swim to the spot, he went down 20 feet and came up with it in his hand. Lucky me. The next day we beached about 200 yards from where we were earlier and he found a nice anchor setup with the bungee setup. Nothing is worse than tossing out an anchor and the rope is motionless.
