depth finder help!!

just got an 04 lsv, took it out this weekend and realized we really needed a depth finder, definantly want to go with a through hull.. i see alot of people are going with the hummingbird.. any other suggestioons or somplaints? and any infor on instalation and placement of transducer? thanks

Lots of opinions on this. I went with the stock. Ordered the gauge and transducer from the dealer. Also, swapped positions with the voltmeter. The transducer is mounted close to where the shaft exits the hull using silicone. Lots of good advise here and on wakeworld regarding installation.
