Hello all! With our 2017 SR400 just going to it's new home, we are in the process of putting in an order for either a 2021 SA450. Unfortunately most dealers in our area are out of new boats, so we are relying on pictures online and a few from our dealer on color combinations for the SA. Wanted to gets some opinions and what we have put together so far. 287282872928730

Me personally, I like the last one.

I would do the dark graphite and change the Brittany Blue to Ultra Blue Metal flake....

I LOVE my Ultra Blue....it's a head turner and will be on my next boat for sure!

Flake for days!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200625/ca1321a2fbd6ed36df227f7ce9307d81.jpg

Ultra blue is one of my top choices as well

I keep looking at an all white boat with black logo, tho. Those ghost ships look so clean

I just saw this color combo on an atlanta marine instagram post, looks pretty good. Just not sure if that's too much. 2873228733

On the SA, I wish you could do the forward color in metallic.

Then I would do the forward in metallic, middle solid, rear metallic.

The SA is such a superb machine, no matter what you do, the SA is an awesome looking boat, I love it. That being said, I'm partial to #1. I like how you broke up the brown by adding some black in the upholstery and the white welt. Not sure how I feel about solid all brown upholstery. They look good, just not my cup of tea.

Blue and white, but white on the bottom hull.

Would you get rid of the black on the deck as well?

Like the white max but id have to throw a little more black on it. Black hull and black accent with black tower and tan interior. White trailer with black aftermarket wheels

Any manufactures have a pearl flake? Is white flake possible?

I can get behind those adjustments and have thrown those on in some of the builds on the site

Also love ultra blue flake

And pacific blue

Think the fire red is solid as well

Agree, need to break up that wall of white. Looks like a fishing boat.

Agree on that. Too much white is too much. Its like a plain white car reminds of a rental or a company car. These boats exude active sports in their design, I love to see these boats in aggressive colors. I love going to boat shows and gawk at all the new wakeboats, color combo's and creative original interior colors. Plain white looks clean, calm, organized, kind'a lean back and settle down, relax type of vibe. Works well on a cruiser . These wakeboats should show aggression, chaos, non-comformity. Aggressive color schemes befit them. Sometimes people do go too far like a literal rainbow colored MC I saw once on Boattrader.
I would consider buying a white boat if I planned on wrapping it.

Here is a slight change to option #2, just added silver metal flake to the upper accent color in place of light graphite and also added the black deck, the blue is pacific. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200626/d17ad1614e00cfdcf022e69f652559da.jpg

This!!! Except I would go with Dark Graphite hull and deck or black but make the hull and deck match. It is definitely not too much flake. A boat is one of the place that flake belongs!! Having the flake like this pulls it around the back of the boat, on the swim platform and under/around the rear cushions and looks awesome!! I wish there would have been an option to have more flake on my Makai I would love to have it as I just described.

That looks very nice. I see you got the contrast tower color in white. Did u try blue for the tower contrast? Wonder how that would look in blue? It would tie the colors from the hull together in the tower. I think it would make the tower pop from the side view.

Another option would be to use the light graphite in the forward and upper accent and instead use metal flake on the blue main panel. I really like the blue metal flake.
That would also avoid having too manydiff colors. I think the sweet spot it color combo is 3 color palate. More might look too busy.

This 100%.

Non-comformity. Don't be a sheep.

As long as you don't do some crazy harlequin theme like on that MC that was all over the web last week, don't be afraid to go bold.

I took a stab at it.

Black deck, graphite upper, pacific main , silver flake rear, black hull, graphite tower with pacific blue accents.

I like matching the tower color to the upper so that they flow together.

Interior you already did this one above, I like bringing the blue welt and breaking up the peanut butter a little bit.

Looks good man, thanks. That’s close to what we are thinking as one of the options. And I thought picking colors would be the easy part...

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I’m going to throw up a separate post with a poll with our final choices. Admins, if you want to keep it to a single post, feel free to delete one or the other. I tried to edit this post but couldn’t figure it out. Thanks

I like the blue welt instead of white to continue the flow of the color palette into the interior. Looks sweet. Also, totally agree with breaking up the tan interior. That peanut butter looks nice and refined, and adding the black and blue accents into it looks so awesome. Wow, that is such a sweet ride. Did you try adding the blue cubix for accent also? In addition to the black and tan. Not sure if that would be too much though.

(wherever I said PB and tan, its actually Pecan chill tech). Just went back to config and the blue cubix accent is not a whole lot. Its actually much smaller amount than the cubix accent in the SL. Try it and see how you like it.

Don't worry Smitty, we'll get you into a kick A** boat. We're all about spending other people's money.

Now I understand why interior designers like their job. You get to buy stuff, add cool features with no regard to budgetary constraints and does not cost you a penny! Hehe...

Cubix is not available for 21, only chill tech
