I recently bought a 2017 Moomba Mojo with the 6.2L Raptor 400 motor and I'm seeing a significant oil slick in the water while out on the boat. It's going through about 2 qts of oil per tank of fuel. The boat runs amazing with no idling issues, no loss of power, no smoking, just oil coming out of the exhaust. Does anyone have any ideas?

Note: hours are over 600, but compression test and leakdown tests were good...

The Ford 6.2L can consume oil through the PCV baffle in the valve covers. On Ford trucks, Ford has a updated valve cover design that is supposed to resolve this.

Not sure why it would not pertain to the raptor engines.

I checked the PCV valve and the intake and it was all clean. You think the valve cover could cause it to consume that much oil due to the valve cover?

Might want to google Ford 6.2 oil consumption. Ford is aware of it.

2 qts of oil per tank. That is definitely excessive. Hope you track it down. I have a Raptor 460 in my boat and it never uses a drop of oil between oil changes at 50 hrs.
