Hey there,

Got a weird one going on my 2000 Mobius V-

Summerized last week (including new impeller - old impeller was in good shape), cleaned all strainers, and put the boat in the water. Warmed it up on the trailer, ensured water was coming out of the exhaust ports, no leaks on hoses, impeller housing or water pump. Drove to the house at 2-2500 RPMs for 10 minutes, temp stayed at 180 deg F, but smelled hot. Once docked, popped the engine cover and felt the block manifolds - they were warm to the touch in the middle, but the upper sections (towards the bow)on both sides were hot. J Hose was hot to the touch, but not melting. All other hoses were ice cold (water temps are cold up here in the PNW right now).
2 days later, went down to the dock and fired it up, let warm up for 10 minutes - same thing.
What is causing the heat on the block manifolds and only one hose? Water is going through the system, temp stays at 180.

Any insight would be most appreciated
