2019 Max rear storage bins

I notice my sun deck rear bins are tough to open as the cushions are very snug, makes opening and closing a chore. Can’t help but think some easier grab handle(s) would facilitate an easier opening. Has anyone done anything to make opening rear bins easier? Thought about adding a pull handle, similar to what is in the bow, see below picture. The center rear bin is the harder one to open and a grab handle in the center seems logical. I’d have to get my hands on some matching vinyl, not sure if dealer would be able to order some.
Anyone tried this? Other solutions?

I like that idea of adding the strap. I know it can be awkward opening up that center hatch from the sides.

I would cut a notch out of the center storage tray so it still sits flat with the strap on it depending how thick the strap is.

Could get super fancy and get a remote hydraulic like on the back of the SUV's tailgate and make it push button.
