View Full Version : Need help...Amp Install Location

Hi guys,
After a bit of searching, I'm not seeing any clean answers as to where I should mount my Amp. Just got it all wired up, but trying to find out where I should mount my JL M700/5, basically 7x10", so it's small.

Without order or making one of these amp boards some guys have, is there a safe space within the cubby to mount my amp?

Also haven't mounted the second battery yet, so open to opinions there too.

Whoops - sorry. It's a 2005 Moomba Outback.

On my old 2004, it was screwed into the back of the bow seats with short screws.

That's kinda what I was thinking. Just tried doing that (with the old speaker screws) and it didn't want to seem to drill in!

Gonna try some tougher screws once this quick storm rolls through.

Those seat backs are very hard plastic.
