Anybody else having repeat alternator problems? Dealership says it will be weeks before I get it back. Infuriating!

No, what is the issue? I assume you got it replaced during the first recall?

Not positive here, but the dealer who figured out the problem and the fix is local to me.

It was not just an alternator replacement, it also required a wiring reorientation.

I recall the bad harness on the Supra boats. I think it was ? 19 models ?
Lots of alternator replacements before it was figured out.

Exactly, so if your alternator was replaced and wiring not fixed, it would kill your alternator again.

Yes, it was 2019 models with the 240amp alternators.

I did! Mine was done in May, I think that was before the harness was known bad.

I wasn’t aware of a bad harness. What is going on with that?? Is this on the 400 or the 450?

Is the wiring issue a recall? Or did they put out a bulletin? What is the actual issue/ what is happening?

Somebody was just posting on Facebook about their 2020 SA alt going bad after 20 hours. I do hear that much of that in 2020.
