I bought my 2019 Craz in may of last year. I never had a problem filling my ballast bags when the engine was off. The dealer upgraded my software over the winter and now I get an annoying message when trying to fill the bags with the engine off (something like "ballast fill inhibited due to insufficient engine RPMs). If I try to fill the bags with the key in the ACC position the pumps cycle on for a couple seconds and then back off...in a continuous loop. Any one else have this problem? While I know the bags fill quicker with the engine on there are plenty of times when I want to fill up w/o cranking the engine.

Anyone else have this problem? Any workaround so I can fill the bags with the engine off?

You can empty with the engine off no problem but they put an inhibit in the software while filling so you dont kill the battery filling and wind up stranded. I have not heard of a work around for this yet.

If you start while engine is running you can bump the kill switch and it will keep filling. Downside is that it fills slower with the engine off as the voltage is lower.

Mine does not work the pumps when it is in ACC but it does run pumps when switch is on run without the engine running. Not sure if it is a good thing to run the pumps with ign on RUN if engine is not running. Anyone have an answer to that?
