Will a wakeplate be beneficial to add to my 01' Outback LS? Any pointers on the best wake with this boat with sacs in the ski locker and under the back seat and deck?

Vince,
did you find anything out yet? I too have an 01 Outback LS and want to get a bigger (Intermediate) sized wake. I am thinking of a sac in the forward ski locker and one under the back seat. I'm only looking to increase the wake a bit for wakeboarding. Do not plan on surfing.
Appreciate any help from older outback owners that have figured this out...
Best Regards, Tim

I have had no responses as far as the wakeplate, but here is my set up.

Wakeplates do not increase the size of a wake. They actually reduce it. They are used to shape the wake with ballast, and allow the stepped rear convex hulls to run at high speed (trim tab effect) without.
Ballast, ballast, ballast.
