got inactive gasoline cataylist code bank 2 spin 3051 any ideas?

Could be a bad catalytic converter on bank 2 or the post cat O2 sensor is bad.

I got this code at the very end of last season too. The dealer said they tried switching something from one side of the motor to the other to try and replicate the error and cleared the code. They said they didn’t have any other issues. Stupid me, I can’t remember what they told me they switch and I’m not mechanically inclined enough to remember. They said they ran it on a hose for a while and had no issue. It didn’t come back initially this year until about midday on Sunday. The next time I started the boat though the light didn’t return. Anyone have any additional thoughts?

mine threw this code last week. after the code, check engine light was on and the wakeplate was also stuck at 50% with no manual control. we stopped the boat, turn everything off, including batteries. cycled back on and seemed to be working fine. no response yet from my dealer for the inquiry for the fault code.

My guess is either you were idling a lot or maybe old gas or both.

Possible exhaust leak?
