We took our new boat out for the 1st time this weekend we have to 1000 pound sumo fat sacks and the rear compartments we have U shaped bag under the seat up and the front compartment. I'm not sure of the total weight but it produces a decent wave but just very little push. Any recommendations?

I have the same boat. After a couple of years of trials, I also purchased WM 1100 lb rear sacs, it improved but, this boat needs a lot more weight. I finally just went ahead and got the 1450 lb Enzo's.I have a total around 4000 lbs and the boat produces a great wave. I also upgraded the surf tabs to the 2.0 tabs, much larger than what the boat had initially, ~350 $, easy to install. Boat now produces an unrivaled wave. I fill everything at 100 % and use the surf tabs. My teenage daughter and her friends tandem surf.
But, after 3 yrs of the Enzo's, if I did it again I would have kept the 1100 lb sacs and just added 600Lbs of lead. The Enzo's have killed my storage. The lead bags take little space.
Either way, save yourself a lot of grief and frustration and just add weight.

Succeed! It could be one of the most useful blogs we have ever come across on the subject. Excellent info! I’m also an expert in this topic so I can understand your effort very well. Thanks for the huge help.

Where would you put the 800# of lead bags?

Does anybody have any ideas where you can purchase the upgraded surf tabs to the 2.0 tabs?

Go to wakeland mfg. They make the tabs for the 2.0 surf system.

At the bottom you'll see T.Turley contact #. I called him and he put me in touch with sales. I paid for them using a CC and had them in my possession in like 3-4 days.

Here's the thread where you can get good info on it.

Regarding the weight distribution, I would say you have to try a few different things, but I would weigh it evenly side-side so you can transition surf from normal to goofy side using your tabs. I would suggest start by putting 400lbs towards the stern, under the 1000 lb bags. They should fit. 300 lbs along the side storage underneath the seat cushions and 100 in the bow, under the front IBS. Then try moving things around, experimenting until you dial it in.
