Going to change the oil soon and have been running super tech synthetic in all my vehicles latley. Wondering if someone has experience or advice regarding this in the boat. I am currently running casterol blend

no opinion on super tech but bought some for our ford f250 last month and seems to be decent oil.

I have only ran shell rotella t6 in my boats and never an issue. it's pretty cheap at walmart.

For a couple $$ more, I would check out Castrol Edge on Amazon, $22 for 5 qts.

I'll throw a Walmart branded oil in the lawnmower or pressure washer that I'm not overly worried about, but for anything deemed valuable I tend to stick to mainstream "I know their stuff is good" brands of oils. Usually Shell Rotella in the boat like SandM.

Warren distribution makes synthetic oil for Walmart (syn-tech) as well as amazon synthetic. I have seen zero testing on it, however a full synthetic is likely superior to a synthetic blend.

The Raptor calls for SN rated oil and doesn’t have an aggressive cam lobe profile that requires a ton on ZDDP or ash.

All that said I would stick to Mobil 1 or castrol Edge for the price in the Raptors. Both rate above 90k psi which designates a great oil.

I hesitate placing this here, but I give caution, I would NOT use an oil in the Raptor with higher than appx 800ppm Zinc. High zinc oils are hard on catalytic converters. So use this list with great caution.
