Question about Indmar vs raptor

Looking at used Moomba mojo’s in the 2014-2016 age. I’m not too informed on the differences between the Indmar and raptor power plants. Is one notably better? Are they the same but re-branded? What are y’all’s personal experiences if you’ve owned both? Thanks I’m advance.

Indmar and raptor power plants.

The "Raptor" is an Indmar Marine engine, so there is no difference or rebranding. Ford and Indmar partnered to do a marine version of the raptor truck engine.

I think Indmar was using the GM 5.7 platforms in '14 and switched to the 6.2 Ford raptor platforms in '15.

MB Sports and Tige also use the Indmar Raptor engines IIRC probably some others too but I don't know. Not sure why they changed but I love mine! Sounds and pulls like a beast! The Monsoon/Crusader engine in the Axis I demoed wasn't as strong and struggled to plane out when fully ballasted.

Yes, if you didn't catch this farva, a '14 would be the older GM based Indmar engine, while '15 up is the Ford 6.2 Raptor. They're both good, the Raptor is awesome. that's my opinion at least.
