2007 OBV Floor Template

Hi all, new to the forum and have a question about flooring templates. Has anyone done the Seadek, AquaTraction, or Gatorstep upgrade to the floor and happen to have an exact template? I am trying to create one, but would love it if someone already has it. Trying to attach an image of what I have produced already, but I'm not sure it is uploading like it should. I have printed it on 2 - 36"x72" sheets of paper and plan to overlay to the flooring soon. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

I would defiantly would like a copy of the template. My bow has a slight texture to it, will that stuff stick over it? I’m also curious to see how that old carpet comes out....I’m a little nervous about ripping mine out.

I'll get the template sent over to you. The old carpet comes off pretty easily; however, the glue is a little more difficult. I used Goof Off - Professional Strength. It came off pretty good.28578 Here's a pic showing the cleaned surface.

I'm curious about the same thing with the bow texture. If it doesn't stick well, I may have to use some other form of adhesive to keep it down. If anyone has a good suggestion, please let me know. Here is a pic of the texture referenced.28579

Oh wow, did you completely remove the main flooring area? It makes sense, I guess to install the whole thing out of the boat. I was thinking about the bumps in the front area.....I wonder if you could hit those with a sander and knock them flush?

Here are a couple pics of the final install. The template could use a little work on the design for the rear seat overlap which I overlooked, but I am otherwise happy with how it turned out.2858128582

That looks amazing. Could you please do a more detailed post? I just bought an 06 Outback V and am waiting for delivery. One thing I did not like was the carpet. I would be veryinterested to know how you dealt with surface imperfections and how much that decking cost. Thanks!

Great info here, Ive reached out to Aqua Traction and unfortunately they dont support in my area. But I was able to connect with SeaDek and they sent me a template for our boat that my be of use to you guys too. Ill attach it here. Im not affiliated with either and I couldn't tell you which is better. They just service my area and thus far have been very responsive and helpful. Im going to try and tackle this project at the end of summer when it start to get cold. I hate my carpet...

Surface imperfections really were not a big deal. The thickness of the material covers all of that up (did for me anyway). Hardest part was removing the glue used for the old carpet. Once that has been removed, you are ready to apply the new surface.

FYI...light gray does tend to show the dirt people track into the boat. I still love it much more than the carpet.

I scaled it up to 100%, made a couple modifications (like in front of the driver's seat to cover the 'ramp' section of our floor, cut it out by hand and verified fitment. Couldn't have done it any easier without your template! Enjoying life without carpet now. Thanks again!!!

How much did that run you? When I bought my OBV the dealer redid the platform for me with the SeaDek and when I asked about the inside of the boat he said it wasn't possible. I'd love the template as well. Is it staying down in the bow area?
