Just wanted to share my recent upgrade to the wet sounds icon 8’s with color matched grill

What do you guys think?

Found the paint code for the atomic orange.

Turns out it’s a 07-09 corvette color. Got it mixed up into a spray can. Then clear coat to finish it off

Cool. I think I read something on Fbook where the person was using a some type of paint designed for plastic from a spray on can.

:cool: When you can, post a pic further back that shows the pods and boat.

If doing an automotive grade base coat clear coat, you would want a primer and paint mix thats got the additives suitable for something like a plastic bumper cover, for an ABS pod like those.

If using an off the shelf rattle can, look for those primers and top coats intended for plastic.

With the proper material and steps, this can be as durable as the original coating.

Once the weather gets a little nicer I’ll pull it outside and take another picture!

I forgot to mention the primer step, but yes I used a primer for plastic so should be as durable as the original
