Overhead wake surf rack

Hey guys, I’m new here and have been trying to find an overhead board rack for my 2005 moomba Mobius with a Rat-A-Cage tower. Anyone point me in the right direction?

Probably on Facebook too . . . . . I know I read about this somewhat recently.

A little pricey, but his racks were popular and nice to mount on the rad-a-cage towers. He sold the racks, the person buying the racks were responsible to buy the tower mounts. If you go this route, I have some mounts for the rad-a-cage tower in my garage. Bought them from one for the wake tower builders in Knoxville TN. Thats really cool, but not $500 bucks cool. I was also looking for a similar system, as a winter project. I was kicking around maybe a surfboard foam cover with some type of ratchet strap to hold them on top of the wake tower. Im still kicking around ideas....

I just use a cargo net beneath the bimini. Keeps the boards out of the sun. My cheap board goes out on the rack. $1000 to store two boards is pretty steep IMO.

Here is a thread that might help. I made 2 overhead racks out of aluminum. Bought some clamps and then cut and screwed the pieces together. Then put some padding over them and used some bungie cords to secure them. They work awesome and cost about $100 a rack. I can't upload pictures but if you want i can emails some to you want.

$200 total for 2 racks is a great price.

I was going to do the same thing on my 22 Supra - that is why I bought the clamps and pads.
Had all the measurements, but did not purchase the Aluminum bar stock, then sold the boat.
The clamps and aluminum pieces were MORE that what I expected from what I recall.

Someone was just asking about this over on social media too. I need to have a garage sale on some of that 'stuff' in my garage.

If anyone needs the clamps and pads, let me know. Purchased the clamps from a local wake tower builder in the Knoxville area. Pads from eBay.
