FAE Install Tips and Marina Storage

Hey guys,

I just bought a 2019 Mojo and looking to put an FAE Pipe on it this winter. Some questions:

1) Are Through-Bolts Mandatory in your opinion?
2) Any Tips with the Install?
3) Is there any worry about surf pipe and keeping your boat in the marina boat slip other than ensuring it is sealed properly?

Absolutely mandatory. Regular wood screws WILL rip out. The drag force in the exhaust is much higher than you think!

Just follow the directions they give you from FAE, it wasn't hard but definitely took a couple hours. Most of the work was getting the baffle pipe out. Only installing the surf pipe would be a quick job. I would just do the through bolt, it's not that much more work and you get the peace of mind.
