What lurks at the end of the boat launch

Our dive rescue team got called out to a boat launch where recreational divers found a submerged truck that with the driver have been missing since 1993. The truck was located right off the concrete end where there was a 20 foot drop off. They brought in a second wrecker after the first one failed to lift the truck past the ledge and chunked up the boat ramp really good. Amazing no one swimming there or fisherman with side scan didn't see it.

I've launched at Hat Rock many times - that is creepy! The little cove at the ramp really isn't too deep - maybe if the truck was a brighter color it could have been spotted.
