I have an 06 outback DD and was thinking that I would like to add some ballast but i want something that I wouldnt have to look at. I cant seem to find anything that fits underneath the back seat. Any ideas?

I have an 05 outback and I put (2) 375 pound bags beside the engine and one 250 under the back seat and one in the bow of the boat. But if you are just wanting a little extra wake behind your boat without taking up room. I would raise your back seat up to the sundeck position and put a 375- 400 pound sac underneath the sundeck that is the only way you can fit something in there bro.

I use the Pro X 750lb sac under the rear seat and 2 150lb sacs under the front seats

I have added a 600lb. Masterline Fat Sac to mine. Mine did not come with a factory ballast. I can fill it up most of the way and it still fit under back seat. The factory ballast fits under the back seat but you are supposed put the seat up on the sundeck position. I plan on adding a smaller tube style ballast for the front to have a balanced 60/40 weighting.

The Masterline Fat Sacs are on ebay for a pretty good price. I got mine late last fall so I only got to use once.
I think there are some longer, not as big around sacs out there that you can make work under the back seat. The other option is 2 250-300lb sacks to put on either side of the motor.
