I got it I am trying to use an MP3 player.Last year the kids were killing the cd's so I'm hoping this will work and take up less space I have upgraded the system a bit and this would just add to it had planned to get the adptor last fall. Then I got "THE PHONE CALL" Umm Honey the computer won't boot up lost alot of things. This was one of them. And I knew someone would have the link :D Alot of good info here so i knew it would be the place to go.

Thanks All

tark,
.
I've got my mp3's backed up on about 14 cd's just in case the computer gets wrecked. I also have a 5 disc dvd player that plays mp3's so when I want to remind myself what is in the library, viola, put in 5 cd's w/ about 30+ hours of music. Good times, i tell ya what.
.
It has taken a long time to get up a good library of mp3's, ripping cd's and downloading, so if anyone is interested in building one, I've got a few clues to help and a killer site that's still free.
.
Hope this helps
