I just got a 18 Supra sa. I went with the 550 because I heard great things. I took it out two days ago will Nearly full stock ballast and 10 people (rated for 16) and tried pulling a wakeboarder. I couldn’t get it over 14mph. Any ideas as to why? With the raptor 575 in should be able to pull almost anything.

What prop is on your boat and at what elevation? When you launched, did you have 0 off engaged or using a rider profile? On your main screen, bottom left, there are 3 bars for the 3 rear tabs, did all 3 engage for auto launch? Sounds like that is your problem. There is a menu for it in the user setting. Was the bow constantly going up and down like it wanted to go but didn't?

16 people is seating capacity only. 2400# is passenger weight capacity over your factory ballast capacity of 3500#.
How much did your 10 passengers weigh?
You could for example take 16 at an average of 150# each.
But even so, the 550 should have no issues with that.
Are you supposed to run full ballast plus 2400# of crew for wakeboarding?

Auto wake wasn’t on. It has to be on in the rider profile for auto launch.
