Regal Red and Black Colour Picture attached here

Hey everyone.

Well here is a picture of the Regal Red Bottom with Black Stripe. I have not seen other pictures of this boat with this colour combination and my concern is that the red and black with Regal Red would make the boat look TOO RED in the bright sun.

That was why I was considering the Rueben Red bottom and Black stripe just like in the large 2007 Moomba brochure where is shows the Mobius LSV. However when I saw it in person, the Rueben looked too dark. Then I noticed that the Mobius LS in the 2007 brochure is Regal Red (the previous page) which looks great. Then I turn one more page to the picture previous to that where all the Mobius boats are around the houseboat and it looks like the LSV is Regal Red on the bottom and Black on top. Is it??

My concern again is that the regal looks terrible in the sun. So anyhow, have a look at this picture and let me know what you guys think.

My outback is regal red and white. It looks great in the sun on the water and on the trailer. I love to see the look of envy on some poor guy next to me in his minivan while I am on my way to the lake.

With the picture of the boat you posted, where is the regal red?? I cannot see it.

The whole boat is regal. When the sun is high, the sides are shadowed by the deck and look darker than they are. Here is a pick of the boat on the same day, but in the morning with full sun.

This was my maiden voyage last april. I love this boat!!!!

Needed to turn up brightness. That is very nice! Great colour in the sun.
I like the black trailer in the picture and I like the red. Hmmmm.. Thoughts?

I think the boat in your link looks great. Realize that when in the water, everything below the logo will be submerged. The white on the hull really doesn't show up much as you are using the boat. I do really like the black accent stripe.

Thoughts about Black for the trailer??

I like my matching red trailer because it seems a little more custom. IMO the black makes it look like a universal trailer with a Moomba sticker on it, not one designed for your exact boat. Again, that is just my opinion.
I do have a much stronger opinion when it comes to tandem axles. I think that if you are planing on doing much trailering at all, you should go for the tandem. The difference is night and day in the feel on the road. I frequently pull my boat behind my 29' motorhome without any drama at all.

More $.02 from me. Pretty soon you'll have a buck. 8)

I was told that any other colour than red would show more rust. Hmmm. I like the red idea too.

Red looks good. My wife (and all her friends) love it.
My trailer is black. It'd probably look better if it were red, but that has never bothered me.
