Thanks in advance for the advice. We have a ‘13 Mojo 2.5. We’ve added the manual Flow system to the boat, replaced the stock rear locker bags with Sumo 900’s and added a plug and play ~650 lbs bow sack. I know these ballast bags have been replaced by other varieties since I got them in ‘14 or ‘15.

When we’re lighter on crew, our wave can lack a bit of push. When we’re loaded up, it’s gets quite good. I’m thinking of getting another bag and pump to throw in the boat on the floor or seats to use when we’re light... I was thinking a 475 lb Sumo. Any other options you’d all recommend? I’d thought about getting bigger bags for the rear lockers but I don’t think they’d add much weight in the space they’re in.

I’ve tried reaching out to WakeMakers but have yet to get a response, I imagine they’re getting slammed right now.

Thanks!
Keith

400 lb Fly High across the back seat and another 400lb on the surf side, when you have a light crew, will really make an improvement.

I agree with Stazi, I would start with another bag under the surf side seat, or maybe consider picking up 500 pounds in "lead" weight. Also try your tabs in the middle and lowest position and speed up a bit. Sit your crew to the surf side to really clean up the wave and get that curl.

Thanks guys, I’ll start with 500 lbs or so and go from there. Lead would be nice for space, could add that later, would just rather not have to deal with that since I tow a lot. I usually run the flow in the lowest position, people on surf side and non-surf side not quite full so it has some lean.

Ya know... the 850 sumo bag + pump is only $10 more than the 475... might as well go for that.

I have a 12 and I have 1100 in the rear. I use the suck gate and run full bag on surf side and half bag on no surf. Full middle ballast and 300 of led in the nose. Run at 10.5 with plate at half or between half and bow fully up. My crew is small just the wife and 3 kids 1 being a newborn. Can ride my wave for days. I play around with the trim tab though depending on water conditions. The wife hates bags on the floor and seat so I plan on adding more led at some point.
