Do you guys just throw your lead bags in the boat as is? Or do you put them in something to keep them safe from the water?

Can't speak to WakeBallast but LeadWake bags have two inner liners besides the cordura outside.

I just throw'em in the boat as is.

If you are worried about leak through, the bags contain stainless steel, not lead. Will not hurt anything for them to get wet, and like RC said, there are multiple liners under the fabric shell.

Good deal. Got into a thunderstorm last week and a few got wet. I was worried about rust runoff
