So I acquired a boat through an auction and it did not get winterized last fall and water is getting the oil. I found a place called Michigan motorz that sells long blocks. Any other places someone has found a good deal on a block and head? Thanks

I found Center State Engine Exchange to be the cheapest for a reman'd engine.

Michigan motor exchange is local to me and hit or miss.

My buddies last Michigan motor exchange had the wrong pistons in it.

My buddy replaced his 8.1L from a place in VA. I think it was called Barr Marine. I recall they sold all the different displacements.

I would think about cheapest not being the best characteristic when considering a rebuilt engine.

You are not shopping at Walmart, you are shopping for what gives you and your family/friends a great time, down time will wreck that in a hurry.
