Mirror reccomendations

Have a ‘19 Max on order. Curious what the group is using for a mirror to keep an eye on your riders. I know ptm has nice mirrors but they seem quite expensive. Thoughts?

I know it doesn't look like it and it's not on the builder, but it does come with a mirror. I had to ask at the boat show. Can't tell you what brand though.

Amazon, can normally find deals on the Cipa 180 and associated mount. It's way bigger than the PTM at a third of the cost. I sold the PTM and mount that came with the Supra and used the Cipa I already had from our last boat.

I had the CIPA on my last boat and PTM on my current boat. I prefer the mount on the PTM, but the CIPA mirror is wider and much less expensive. I run mine on the port side windshield because I'm tall and don't like the mirror in my direct field of view.

My cipa mount looks and acts just the same as the PTM, it's just longer. I put it on the left of the driver window, never gets in the way.

I have this cipa mount and mirror on my craz, the mount is the key, it folds down essliy for the cover. This mirror is huge.. Lol

This is the mount that came from the factory on my 2016 Mojo. It does not compare to the PTM I have on it now, not even close, imo .... but i know the PTM does feel unreasonably expensive.

How does it not compare? It's taller and folds flat, to me its better. Our 15 Mojo came with some tiny thing that I gave away. Sold the PTM mirror and mount that came with the new Supra. That Cipa mount and the Cipa 180 mirror is great and very cost effective. But to each their own.

This is great aluminum mount. Pricey but it looks good.

The PTM mount goes into a set or locked position when up. I had trouble with the Cipa mount not holding the mirror tight enough. It's also bulkier and seems to be made of lower quality materials.

I'll admit, I was taking too long to pull the trigger on the upgrade .... ultimately, the wife bought it as a present and I'm glad she did. I'm surprised you took the cipa to the Supra.

I had it for 2 years on the Mojo. Went out on a friend's Supra that had the Cipa, I didn't like it at all, but it did look nice. So i knew I'd keep my current setup to the new boat. The Cipa comes with a couple different size rubber inserts for the windshield, it's never come loose. The Cipa mount that we have has a lever on the bottom that locks and unlocks the folding mechanism. Works really well. Like I said, I like how tall it is too, can see right between it and the window, couldn't do that with the PTM.. guess it's all a comfort thing.

I believe they are all clamp style.

My Cipa didn't have issues staying attached to the windshield. It had issues holding the mirror up through chop.

Pulled 2 years worth of double ups and big lake chop, it's never fallen. Maybe you had a lemon, lol

I had the same issue as KG with my stock mirror. I have a PTM now and it is rock solid.

The cipa mount and mirror were are using isn't the stock setup. It's rock solid. Ptm is good stuff though, just didn't like how short the mount was.

PTM all the way...hands down better quality and better looks than the CIPA.
